Snowmageddon Part 2

Just like Virginia; we got hit hard with snow this weekend in Eastern PA.  On Friday, our news stations only calling for 6-12 inches of snow but when we woke up on Saturday morning it became very clear that we were in for much more than they were predicting.  In Easton we ended up with almost 32 inches!  Crazy.  We have had tons of fun with the snow and have enjoyed 2 extra days with Matt home.
This was our first big snow in our new house which is on a decent hill with no driveway. It was so awesome to see how our neighborhood came together during our big dig out on Sunday.  Everyone helped to get all the cars out and then we all pitched in to get a lot of the road plowed so that we can easily park.  It is so encouraging to see how people come together to help each other!
A few pictures of our fun if you'd like to see...

 {this little one has been waiting so patiently for snow this year.  when she woke up Saturday morning, it was like Christmas morning all over again.}

 {Matt's car was completely covered!}

{best way to spend a snowy evening - making & eating potato soup!}
 {& following the soup up with snow ice cream}
