Theme Week: Popsicles

Today I'm bringing you a delicious treat (also from the book Ice Pop Joy) and this one is chocolate-y peanut butter goodness!  

Here's what you will need:
1/2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips 
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 TBSP wheat germ
2 bananas
1 c. soy milk 

 
 
Here's what you will do:
1. Melt your chocolate chips.  I used a homemade double boiler - simmer water in a pot, place chocolate chips in a glass bowl and set the bowl over the simmering water (make sure the bowl isn't in the water), stir until melted.



Make sure you take a little snack break to taste test your ingredients. :)

2. Put all of the ingredients in your food processor or blender and blend until smooth. 


3.  Pour the mixture into your popsicle molds.  


4.  Freeze for several hours and then enjoy!!
